After you have completed the E-learning course and the 10 hours of the in car sessions only then will you be certified with the MTO. To obtain the certificate you must go to any Service Ontario and request for your Driver’s License History which comes with an additional fee.
Completing and acquiring your MTO Certification will lower your insurance rate as well as reduce the waiting period to take your G2 test from 12 to 8 months.
The full course must be completed within 12 months and the E-learning course must be completed within 30 days from the registration date. If not completed during this time period additional fees may apply.
